Digital Twins Wiki

Cities, infrastructure, populations and ecosystems

Welcome to the Digital Twins Wiki!

Advances in computation, geographic data and AI are expanding what we can simulate, model and predict. Transport planners can test road closures. Utilities can examine how electric vehicles and heat pumps will change civic demands. Fire agencies can estimate where a wildfire will spread. Communities can explore competing proposals and trade-offs for the places they live. This wiki seeks to be an 'atlas of computational representations of the world'. We collect users, use-cases, engines, platforms and emerging trends in the Digital Twin space with a focus on 'whole systems models' at the macro scale. The big question is can digital twins help us live within ecological systems that exceed our unaided ability to reason about them?
